Silk at Marlborough Museum

silkMarlborough Museum has a fine collection of textiles from which Pam Saunders, Honorary Curator of Textiles and CTANZ member and Director Steve Austin curate regular beautifully presented exhibitions which are an absolute delight.

They have just opened one devoted to silk from the collection and one of woven wall hangings by 99 year old Marlborough Living Treasure Peg Moorhouse. Peg’s blog is also inspiring.
